I've done a quick and dirty analysis and there are at least 4 posters who have switched sides so far.

The rest of the missing votes are just people that haven't voted yet.

Interesting then mate.

Don't do this please

Why?
I would have Nathan Jones and Chris Cohen in a heartbeat even though I voted for patience.

Problem is why would he leave a club that although smaller is in a way better state than we are currently. Caveat I want both Of them not Cohen alone.

Yeah sorry I assumed it was meant to be Cohen on his own. Not sure he's got enough coaching experience yet to be a manager.

The noises coming out of Luton is that Cohen is an exceptional coach with a future in management. Some there believe it won’t be long.

Why not us.

He loves the club and his education at us and Luton has been excellent.

I genuinely think he would be good.

RE: Temperature Check - Week 2 - Salvatore Matrecano - 15-08-2021

Maybe mate but how long would he have to find his feet as a new manager before we call him crap, too defensive, too attacking, picks the wrong team, loses to Derby etc etc.
Im not blown away by the lack of progression under Hughton myself but half the problem is we never give anyone a proper chance. Maybe a combination of Cohen and Jones would work and a bit of experience means a lot but Forest is no place for a rookie IMO.

Agreed, this is it, whoever the manager is, unless they get us near the playoffs they've got no chance. Based on our current squad I would say this is unlikely so not the time for a rookie.

For me we just haven't got a great team right now. Particularly with our current full back situation

But the tried and tested root has worked so well over the years

Oooohhh caught a big one there... chill out fella.... I would also point out that Watford change managers 3 or 4 times a season and it doesn't seem to do them any harm.

I mean I agree to a point that someone like Cohen would need help but I for one don't buy in to this experienced manager crap.

Loom how many new managers come here and win promotion.

I do think CH should be given time but I can't see it improving. What's he had now??? 43 league games. OK we can argue that he hasn't made many signings but we can also argue that his tactics are so outdated. So easy to play against. Do you really think that, when he has his own players in, he will move away from 2 defensive midfielders every game. Do you really think that he isn't going to play safe.

People keep saying look what he did at Newcastle and Brighton. I don't care about that. Football changes. The style of football now in the championship is closer than ever to that of the Premier league. The quality may not be as good but teams certainly set up in a similar way. So my argument would be to look at Brighton and Newcastle under Ch in the Prem. They didn't score bags of goals. They were defensive and relied on holding on to what they had.

You need so.ething different to get out of this league. You need to be on the front foot and scoring goals. You need to be able to turn defense in to attack and if you do sit back you get punished.

We don't have a bad squad. We don't have a great squad. We have a disjointed squad but a squad that with the right management can score goals. A squad that when encouraged to attack will create chances. Unfortunately we also have a squad that is incapable of sitting back and holding on as we have proved time and time again under CH.

So yeah we could wait until Christmas. We could give him the season but with the loan signings and lack of permanent signings we are back to square 1 in the summer again.

2 games and zero points

2 wins in the last 16.

My opinion is that CH is not the right man for this job. I hope I'm wrong. I will support the team, I will get behind the manager no matter what. But I wouldn't be unhappy to see him gone.

Sorry what proof is there we have a squad capable of scoring goals and creating chances. I must've missed that the last few years.

Under Sabri we were regularly outplayed we just ground out scrappy one goal wins aside from a few occasions.

We have a band average team, why can't people just accept that. It'll take time to bring the young players through etc. Teams like Watford can afford to repeatedly sack managers because they have good squad and because they have parachute payments. Also, they got relegated last year, I'm not sure that exactly shows them to be a huge success.

RE: Temperature Check - Week 2 - Uwantlee - 15-08-2021

Johnson, zinc, carv, lolley

All capable of creating and scoring

Mighten capable of scoring and creating

And some would have us believe that grabban is a goalscorer.

Again... my opinion... the problem is the set up and not the squad... please don't get me wrong. This squad won't get promoted. No way near. But it should be capable of mid table .

The way we set up though does not allow the creative players any freedom. They end up doing more defensive work and when we get the ball they are in the wrong areas to do damage.

Again all opinions but I think Ch would be successful if he changed tact slightly. Defense first hasn't worked for most of his 43 league games.

I think most of us are realistic. We don't expect promotion this year. We do expect to see progress though. I see zero progress from when sabri was here. In fact since that Leeds game we have gone backwards and continue to do so.

Also yes Watford got relegated and then promoted again. Point is though, they have spent more time in the prem than we have in the last 20 years.
