Basically giving nothing away to the opposition.

watson will come back but prob not for weekend.

it wouldn’t surprise me if Sow didn’t play this season. They have tried to manage the injury, makes you think they prob should have sorted it with surgery

Frustrating but at this point just see if you can get him on the pitch for a couple of games and then surgery as soon as season finishes

With Sow we have 39 points from 18 games
Without Sow we have 22 points from 20 games

Over the season if he had played every game and assuming the  same ppg we would have 82 points which would have us 9 points clear at the top of the Championship.

If he had not played at all and picked up the same ppg we would have 41 points putting us equal 21st and in the drop zone. Almost certainly would have cost Lamouchi his job too.

Flawed I know but food for thought.

Yes.  Agreed.

That was the time to go for it.

beating Leeds and closing the gap.

Jan business screamed Sow replacement.

RE: Samba Sow - Salvatore Matrecano - 25-06-2020

Why would they have signed a replacement? He had recovered from the first injury and played every game in January. If you remember we had far more pressing priorities, striker, new left back then.

RE: Samba Sow - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 25-06-2020

We tried to sign Paz in January but we couldn't get it over the line. He was the replacement.

RE: Samba Sow - Strawberry Avenger - 25-06-2020

Cheers Sniffer Dog.

Shame it didn't come off.

RE: Samba Sow - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 25-06-2020

It is a shame because if Watson and Sow are out much longer then I fear the worse unfortunately.

He had a strap on his knee and there was no ball in the shot. I reckon they wheeled him out to keep Udders guessing.
