Yes that promises to be comedy gold. It will be like watching Jordan Smith under Warburton. RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - Username - 23-12-2024 I’m not entirely sure we press enough to expose it. I hope we don’t show them too much respect RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - Salvatore Matrecano - 23-12-2024 They have an odd combination of a world class attack and a relegation level defence. Highest scorers in the league, we can’t afford to let them get in front. RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - ac_vodka - 23-12-2024 3 at the back for this one again RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - Trailer Park Tom - 23-12-2024 (23-12-2024, 11:03 AM)ac_vodka Wrote: 3 at the back for this one again Absolutely. RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - RedMW - 23-12-2024 All you need to do with Tottenham is soak up the pressure because you are going to get your chances on the break. On paper this is our kind of opposition. Their fullbacks constantly get left exposed one on one so CHO and Elanga should have a field day RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - Trailer Park Tom - 23-12-2024 It's mad that we might be getting complacent against spurs but they are for the taking at the moment. Agree with the above comment that we need to be solid and patient and wait for them to leave themselves exposed. We need to get some shots off to Forster and when we have the ball run at their makeshift defence. Try and force the mistakes. Hopefully Spence and Jonno get a good reception. Although Lower B will inevitably start singing your dad's a twat and so are you. RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - DeesideRed - 23-12-2024 Really hope we win this for Nuno RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - TwoStar - 23-12-2024 We often give the so-called big teams a little too much respect, standing off them and allowing playmakers space in dangerous areas. Spurs have been a good example of this - the end result being four losses out of four PL games. (The one time we beat them was that League Cup game and yep, we won.) So is there a case for going for the jugular, pressing and harrying, attacking the keeper, attacking space down the lines? If Spurs concede early it can easily become a case of ‘Oh s**t, here we go again’ in their minds. Make them uncertain. Make them scared. Make them pay. RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - DR Forest - 23-12-2024 Sorry if it’s been posted elsewhere but do we know if MGW is suspended or not? There was some confusion with his red card resetting the totals on the commentary. |
