All you need to do with Tottenham is soak up the pressure because you are going to get your chances on the break. On paper this is our kind of opposition. Their fullbacks constantly get left exposed one on one so CHO and Elanga should have a field day

It's mad that we might be getting complacent against spurs but they are for the taking at the moment.

Agree with the above comment that we need to be solid and patient and wait for them to leave themselves exposed.

We need to get some shots off to Forster and when we have the ball run at their makeshift defence. Try and force the mistakes.

We often give the so-called big teams a little too much respect, standing off them and allowing playmakers space in dangerous areas. Spurs have been a good example of this - the end result being four losses out of four PL games. (The one time we beat them was that League Cup game and yep, we won.)

So is there a case for going for the jugular, pressing and harrying, attacking the keeper, attacking space down the lines? If Spurs concede early it can easily become a case of ‘Oh s**t, here we go again’ in their minds. Make them uncertain. Make them scared. Make them pay.
