Just seems a strange choice all round. You know a new manager will revert to Dyche style tactics like we did last year after Leicester. Sort the defence first and try and grind out 1-0s. Dont know why Cooper changed things. This will always bug me I feel.
4-3-3 isn't what brought us success. No idea why persisted with it

I own it - not good enough for NFFC or these fans. I didn’t deserve the fans reaction tonight…Players need to own it too- no desire, not tactically or technically good enough…Whatever is right for Nottingham forest is right for me… dignified end

Just seen it. It's clear that he's passionate about the football club and cares deeply about it. Its also clear that he feels he's let the fans down and the remark about "whatever is right for Nottingham Forest is right for me" shows that he's expecting to leave and will harbor no ill feelings if it happens. A gem of a bloke but it seems the players are not playing for him for whatever reason that may be. Maybe they will respond better to someone else. wouldn't it be typical if Lopetegui came in and we beat Wolves at their place. Strange thing Football.....

Mangala having a Fulham shirt on, Kouyate laughing and joking with iwobi, MGW chatting with Marco silva after a transfer, Yates blanking coops, Origi just walking off, only Filipe acknowledging coops- all whilst cooper went to apologise to the fans - wankers.
On the flip side could something have happened since Villa to cause this? Where is Worrall? Where is mckenna?

Its been evident for some time that Cooper and his coaching team are out of their depth.
While the happy Stevie clappers cling to memories those who are more prudent have been saying Steve is in trouble and his coaching team is in trouble.
He did well for us, and thanks to him for that.........but he is also correct, what is best for NFFC is all that matters and I think he knows he has reached his "current" pinnacle and cannot go further. This is the difference between good managers and elite managers........and what we need is an elite manager.
I do think, and have said for some time, Steve is too nice and the players are not scared of him. This may be ok with a squad of young players in the Championship.....but when you start getting in older pro players it does not...........thats the subtle change to an elite manager.
Whatever happens next........ remember, we all want NFFC to be a strong Premier League side.........no matter who the manager is.

Haven't read this thread so apologies for any repetition. PTSD already setting in!
Positives:
- Return of the best supporters on the land. Funny how no tourists on a cold wet Wednesday night in London.
- it wasn't more than 5.
Negatives:
- The bottling gutless spineless performance on the pitch.
- Through circumstances I am currently poor, I choose to stay in, cancelled sky, downgraded phone, no landline etc so I can find enough cash to follow Forest. Its my first priority after mortgage, food and kids. It comes above having heating on, eating out or the like. I will have spent around £150 in 4 days on tickets and travel. I can't afford it, but it's my one vice these days, the credit card has taken a hammering. The least those millionaire spineless players can do is put a shift in, if not for their manager or themselves then for the 3000 people who spend real money supporting them.
I hope for (but don't expect) better today.
