We of course made the league cup final a year later, I didnt go to that but next year will be 30 years since we appeared at Wembley.
I saw a stat not long ago of clubs who have never played at the new Wembley, think there are only 8 of them including us, nearly all lower league and a number of those clubs played in finals at Cardiff which we never did. We really have been starved of success for far too long.
