Not moaning about it at all. That's football. They don't give two shxts about fans. Forza having to pay for those flags themselves says it all. Just knowing you are going to be royally fked over in a couple of years is not a good feeling.
But that's life, there's 20k on the waiting list, so it won't change anything.
I'm sure lots of Chinese tourists behind the dugout for every game with their newly bought shirts and cameras on their phones will do so much for the famous City Ground atmosphere.

Forza want to remain independent and do not want to be beholden to the club over their displays. They did say that Ryan Yates made them a significant donation from his own pocket. But I'm very grateful we don’t have the club leaving plastic flags and scarves on our seats. As for atmosphere it was pretty silent at the CG for most of the previous 20 years, its currently way better than it ever was although the “world class atmosphere” line we promote is pushing it compared to many other countries.
Yep we will have tourists, we get them now. I bet they spend more than you or I do too. The only time it annoys me is when tourists manage to get tickets to away games, not sure how they manage it when I can’t and the tickets are never on an open market.
Ultimately if you don’t want the commercial experience, go and watch your local non league team. Failing that Notts or Mansfield. The PL is a different beast Im afraid.

Pricing will always move with time. What was the multiple of salary to house price in 1970 ? What is it now ?
Yes, nobody likes to pay more, but yes, everyone wants to sell for more.
You come down to a stark choice - do you want to be NFFC in Division 1 with cheap seats ? or do you want to be NFFC in the PL with European football and expensive seats ?
Its just the reality of life.
To be fair, the cost of football has hugely outstripped other "entertainment". It was roughly the same price as going to a decent cinema, then it was similar to a trip to Theatre Royal, now its not far off tickets to an Oasis gig. I pay less to travel away than I do per home game even with a Season Ticket, that's absolutely nuts.
I have my youngest on SC waiting list too. I agree with previous poster £1000 for a SC is ample. That's more than £50 a game.
It's a choice, but when I read about German clubs' prices, I am very envious.

My lad paid for me to go on the City Ground Tour and we went today. An absolute brilliant day was had by both me and my boy!
Anyway, the Tour Guide was on about the corporate packages and interestingly happened to mention there is still one hospitality box left in the BC stand....... at a cost of £60,000 for the season.
However, when you take into account each box can hold up to 20 people and we have 20 games in a season (actually more if we qualify for Europe), that works out at just £150 per person per match, plus food and drinks are thrown into the corporate package too, so it doesnt work out that bad at the end of the day

What’s wrong with having more space and padded seats btw? I’m tall, I need leg room. Just price it sensibly.
