I'm looking for a calm season, no fighting relegation this season, just a gentle improvement without ever looking in trouble.
A nice cup run too.
I'm looking to win the lottery and immediately retire, but we don't always find what we're looking for.

First team selection will be interesting. Reading his interview comments I reckon he might not start with Diomande so we could see something like:
----------------------------Sels----------------------------
-------------Cunha----Milenkovic----Murillo------------
Williams-------Sangare------McAtee--------------Aina
--------------------MGW---------Ndoye------------------
---------------------------Jesus----------------------------
But I wouldn't be totally surprised to see Netz in for Aina and swapping Williams to the right. Or Schlager in for McAtee. Or Wood for Jesus. Nice to have some options already even before (hopefully) bringing others in).
Subs something like: John, Diomande, Morato, Netz, Dominguez, Schlager, Yates, Wood, Kalimuendo
Which still leaves CHO, Hutchinson and Bakwa not in the squad at all. Options indeed!
Yates out injured - Glasner said after game on Sunday.

Feel this is going to be on a knife edge match. Both teams fairly even and nothing between them. Also it's the first match so doubt either will be totally on it from the get go. Be nice to get a first win under the new managers belt.

I'm anticipating a midfield duo of Sangare and McAtee.
Can you just imagine if McAttee can claim the role outright, what a huge boost that would be to the club.
A ready made, in-house replacement for Anderson.
That would be a real coup.

I agree, thats why ive predicted a narrow win for Leeds. They have a settled side and manager whereas we're just working out what's required under Glasner. Its a really difficult game to start with for us I think.

Schlager will start for sure.
This is a game where lots of running and effort and hard tackling is needed, not a game for people who cannot run for 90 minutes.
Expect to see Dominguez used as well.
Glasner is going to demand 100% effort for 90 minutes - non stop running.

I'm wondering if Kalimuendo is going to be given a start in the 10.
He's been scoring goals in preseason
Give him an opportunity to stake a claim for one of the 10's.
At worst, shop window.
The 10's need to be goal scorers and he has a talent for that.

It's here, the day has finally arrived.
I like WC and EC windows, they help the off season go a whole lot quicker.
