Derby - Nottingham Forest

We need to avoid giving away free kicks from pointless, unnecessary fouls around the box. We gave away too many of these recently especially v Bristol. Rooney will punish us for sure if we are as sloppy again. This is their biggest threat I think now that Lawrence is missing.

Even if Forest beat Derby...I think we can only postpone their entry into the play offs.  Their form has been impressive.

Both Brentford and Derby started from lowly positions.  Now look at them.

...chances are we will have to play Derby again.

All Forest can do is go on a great run of form.  The longer the season lasts the more fitness Sow gets and the more this team matures.

I don't anticipate WBA suffering a collapse in form.

And if they did we haven't shown this season that we can take advantage of it.

I'll be pleased if we can hold top 6 with Sow returning for the play offs.

He'll have to be used strategically.

I'd be happy with 3 points and another 4 onto our GD

Easiest win of the season

I think Derby are far more worried and far more to lose, sort of a must win for them especially looking at their run in

... Forest , WBA , Brentford, Cardiff, Leeds

they might need to rest a few players themselves

Us and derby have a tough 6 games. No way will derby win all and no way will we. A draw would be perfect for us - keeping the distance between us and another game gone.

We need to get some game time into other players too - we can’t be burnt out by the playoffs and have Others undercooked if needed.

This is why managers get paid fortunes!

This will be the first time in a long time when I am far more bothered about the points at stake than I am about beating “them”. In that respect it does seem like just another game. Maybe its because of the lack of exchange between the fans in the stadium, the taunting and elation when we score, that horrible feeling when they score. Just wont seem anywhere near the same to me.

According to Sabri, Lolley was only pulled off at half time because he wasnt up to his best and he wanted to 'wake up the dressing room', so with that in mind, Lolley should be fit for saturday

Yep me neither, also I would play Yates above Sow until he's a bit fitter

Yep, I would too. As much as Sow would be useful at snapping away at Rooney in midfield, slowly reintroducing him is the way.
