You are going home like Sandy Richardson (cringe).

For people who perhaps are too young or don't know this song...

Sandy Richardson was a wheelchair bound actor who used to play in a series called Crossroads that was filmed in Birmingham.

So when a team from the Birmingham area used to visit the City Ground the Forest fans would chant 'You are going home like Sandy Richardson'.

Sniffer you are right, it is cringeworthy.

Somebody behind me shouted this 'song' out on Saturday at Birmingham. Thank god nobody else joined in with him.

Don't mind admitting that I sang that one a few times

He's fat he's crap and Leeds can have him back John O'Hare John O'Hare.

Always thought that was a bit unfair on John.

I am sure he had a good sense of humour though.

Stevie Stevie Stone

One of the last real player chants I've heard

Yes, we need some proper player chants for our current crop.

:D  Haven't heard that one for a few years.

We should belt out that old classic when we play West Brom first match of the season.

Can you imagine the comments on Social Media if we signed a player like John O'Hare today?

Thank god there was no internet in those days.

I remember singing that at the Hawthorns, think it was around 1980, I remember we won 1-5.

An old one which may not be relevant by 5pm....

We're better than Man United
We're louder than the Kop
We're second in the league
But we should be at the top

Was it ever 'taken'?

I can recall some teams being allocated it (Chelsea and Man. United) but never taking it.
