Robinson first choice left back with Osborn and fox back up, I'd be happy with that. Can't see point in signing him and Fabio,  one or the other for me.

If Jack gets injured.  Then Osborn isn't a specialist LB.  And that is what teams will (and did) go for.

Fabio seems expensive at the rumoured 3 million.  But Forest signed Darwikwa for #2.5 million?  Fabio only has a year on his contract.  I'll be surprised if Boro' get 3 million for an unhappy at Boro' player.  (But Boro' can be difficult to deal with.  Forest have tried to sign Leadbitter?  Clayton etc in the past?  And the rumoured response to Bamford is to slap a ten to 16 million price tag on him?  They can get bent.)

I think there is a deal there to be made.  But if they want to play hard ball, we can go back to them in January...when the player is worth half of that and even more unhappy with them.

That's a good read BD, thanks. He seems to have a similar career arc to Sam Hutchinson. He's gone on to play pretty consistently (though annoyingly not with us) so hopefully Robinson can do so as well (if we sign him).

Thanks.  Good read.  Good article.  Knee injury/Cartilage problems and surgery to reattach it.  Cara' offers words of praise for him.  Hopefully the move to Forest works out for him.

There's nothing worse than when you get an injury, you're body never lets you forget it (especially as you get older) and the rehab you have to do to get 'back' and even then, the rehab you have to do to 'stay in the game.'

Forest's very own Chris Cohen is testimony to what you can do if you have a strong will.

Sam Hutchinson.  He was quality.  Shame he couldn't stay with us and get over his injuries.

Interesting. Maybe that's a sign that it's mean to be. Robinson and Lolley on the left side for Forest?

The article had Jack down as an aggressive player and Forest's back line has needed more intensity to it. That kind of combative leadership.

Like Bad Dog says, if he played for L*verp**l he must have something.

Hope we get Bryam too for RB.
