Bostock wasn’t good, don’t get me wrong, but to say he can’t pass is stupid. He played the best pass out of all of out team with the through ball to Mir.

He played one decent pass throughout the whole game. he also played simple passes either to an opposition player or straight out into touch. One swallow doesn't make a summer, as the saying goes

It’s harsh expecting these players to come in and immediately put in good performances after hardly playing. Bostock looked ok to me, as did Mir. To say a passer like Bostock can’t pass is a strange comment. Mir missed a couple of chances but that can happen. All strikers miss chances.
